چکیده
High-strength bolted shear connectors (HSBSCs), which can be demounted easily and efficiently during deconstruction, are recommended to replace the conventional steel studs in steel–concrete composite beams (SCCBs) meet requirements of sustainable development. The existing investigations on behavior HSBSCs mainly focus positive moment area beams, concrete slab is compress condition. In this paper, a three-dimensional finite element model (FEM) was developed investigate performance subjected inverse push-off loading. Material nonlinearities interactions among all components were included FEM. accuracy reliability proposed FEM initially validated against available test results. Load-carrying capacity load–slip response under loading further studied by verified A parametric study carried out determine influence strength, diameter tensile strength bolt clearance between as well pretension HSBSCs. Based extensive analyses, design recommendations for estimating load at first slip load-bearing resistance verified.

Finite Element Instability Analysis of the Steel Joist of Continuous Composite Beams with Flexible Shear Connectors
Composite steel/concrete beams may buckle in hogging bending regions. As the top flange of I-beam in that arrangement is restricted from any translational deformation and twist, the web will distort during buckling presenting a phenomenon often described as restricted distortional buckling. There are limited studies available in the literature of restricted distortional buckling of composite st...

Steel-concrete-steel (SCS) sandwich panels are composed of two steel plates with low thicknesses and high densities and strengths and one thick layer between both plates with low strength and density known as core that is composed of concrete. Cohesive material-epoxy resin or shear connectors are usually used to connect the plates to the concrete core. SCS sandwich composites are being develope...
متن کاملFinite Element Analysis for CFST Columns under Blast Loading
The columns of frame structures are the key load-bearing components and the exterior columns are susceptible to attack in terrorist blasts. When subjected to blast loads, the columns would suffer a loss of bearing capacity to a certain extent due to the damage imparted which may lead to their collapse and even cause the progressive collapse of the whole structure . The concrete-filled steel col...
متن کاملBehaviour of Corroded Stud Shear Connectors under Fatigue Loading
Experimental investigation was conducted on corroded composite push-out specimens to study the behavior of shear studs subjected to fatigue loading. A total of eight standard EC4 push-out specimens were tested. The expected corrosion rate of test specimens ranged from 0 to 50%. The main purpose of these tests was to determine the fatigue life and the reduction effect caused by the corrosion on ...
